Animal noises

I've decided on a theme for my blog. It's 'animal noises'. If this strikes you as silly, well, it is. There are more to animal noises than we may think, though... They can be recorded and transcribed by some clever animals into systems of symbols, and after that, we don't seem to know where the limit is yet...

Anyway, more on this as time goes by. For now, here's the first animal noise (afterwards I'll start a discussion about it, I expect I'll be the only one saying anything, but maybe with time others will join in, add their own noises and discussions, and we'll have a menagerie of words and sounds :) ) -

Ich bin Warren, ein Südafrikaner und Student von Kognitionswissenschaft und Psychologie in London. Ich spreche nicht so viel Deutsch (Englisch ist meine Muttersprache, und dann Afrikaans) aber ich versuche zu lernen.
